COAT ASW is a high-performance alcohol-based zircon coating specially formulated for ferrous and non-ferrous foundry applications. It provides an excellent barrier against metal penetration, sand erosion, and gas-related defects, ensuring a smooth casting surface and improved dimensional accuracy. The coating is ideal for use on molds and cores, offering superior refractoriness, quick drying, and consistent coverage.

Engineered with premium refractory fillers and a stable suspension system, COAT ASW is easy to apply by dipping, brushing, or spraying. It significantly enhances the quality of castings while minimizing cleaning and finishing operations.

thoroughly and then use the material for brushing, dipping and spraying applications after dilution on No bake / cold box / shell core / oil cores.

Keep the viscosity of the diluted material in the range of 15 to 20 secs. by B4 Ford Cup.

After applying coating, air dry it (core / mould) for 10 to 20 minutes and then dry in oven at 150C to 160C for 20 minutes or by torching.
